01. Product Discovery & UX Strategy
AONATY was conceived around a human challenge that often gets overlooked in digital experiences: people can easily discover places, activities, and destinations, yet meaningful connections with the communities around them remain difficult to create. Local knowledge, experiences, and opportunities are often fragmented across social networks, websites, messaging apps, and word of mouth, making discovery feel disconnected and transactional.
My objective was to define a digital experience that could bridge this gap by connecting people with communities through shared experiences and a stronger relationship with place and nature. I approached the product through user-centered thinking, translating this broader challenge into a clear experience built around discovery, connection, participation, and belonging. The strategy focused on making community interaction feel natural while keeping the experience intuitive, accessible, and scalable.
02. Architecture & User Journey
Because AONATY brings together people, communities, places, and experiences, the information architecture became one of the most important parts of the product. The challenge was creating enough structure to help users navigate a diverse ecosystem without making the experience feel complex or overly platform-driven. The architecture needed to support exploration while keeping the human purpose of the product visible throughout the journey.
I designed a connected experience centered around three core actions: discover, connect, and participate. The navigation organizes experiences, communities, profiles, and interactions into clear functional areas, while the user journey progressively moves from discovering a place or experience toward interacting with the people behind it. This creates a more meaningful flow in which discovery becomes the beginning of a relationship rather than the final destination.
03. Design System & UX Components
AONATY required a design system capable of supporting different types of content, interactions, and community-driven experiences within one consistent visual framework. Rather than treating each screen as an isolated interface, I established a reusable system of components, patterns, and interaction states designed to provide consistency while allowing the product to evolve across different contexts and devices.
The component library brings together navigation elements, experience cards, community profiles, buttons, forms, tags, notifications, avatars, and interaction patterns. Typography, spacing, color hierarchy, and component behavior were also structured to create a predictable and scalable experience. This modular approach allows new experiences and community features to be introduced without losing the visual and functional coherence of the product.
04. Visual Interface & Brand Experience
AONATY's visual identity is built around the relationship between nature, people, and connection. Nature acts as the primary visual context, while organic paths and flowing lines represent the invisible system that connects individuals, communities, and places. The visual language combines natural references with a contemporary digital aesthetic to make the experience feel both human and technologically relevant.
The interface uses photography, organic forms, structured typography, and a refined color system to create a balance between emotional expression and usability. Blue establishes the technological and connective foundation, green introduces the relationship with nature, and coral adds human energy and moments of action. Across the interface, every visual decision supports the central idea that technology should not replace human connection, but make it easier to discover, participate, and belong.
05. Hi-Fi Prototype & Product Outcome
The final outcome is a responsive digital product experience designed to make discovering communities, places, and shared experiences feel simple, intuitive, and meaningful. High-fidelity interfaces and interactive prototypes bring together the product architecture, user flows, visual identity, and Design System into a cohesive experience that works across desktop, tablet, and mobile environments.
Beyond the individual screens, AONATY establishes a scalable foundation for a community-centered digital platform where discovery can evolve into participation and lasting connection. By combining UX strategy, UI Design, brand thinking, and a reusable design system, the project translates an abstract idea about community and belonging into a tangible digital experience built around one central principle: when people connect with places and with each other, communities can thrive.
