01. Branding Strategy
As the Founder and CEO, I spearheaded the comprehensive strategic development of Kompsó, a luxury medical scrubs brand that bridges the gap between clinical functionality and high fashion aesthetics. The brand name, derived from the Greek word for "elegance," was intentionally selected to honor the deep etymological roots of Western medicine while positioning the product as a sophisticated alternative to conventional uniforms. By identifying a market gap for "trendy" designer level workwear, the strategy focused on empowering medical professionals to express their personal style through premium, mexican made garments that prioritize both sartorial refinement and high tech performance.
02. Visual Identity Design
The visual identity was designed to reflect the brand's core pillars of elegance and modernity. I developed a minimalist yet bold graphic system that resonates with the discerning tastes of medical practitioners who value runway inspired design. The color palette and typography were selected to bridge the professional authority of the healthcare sector with the sleek, high end feel of a fashion house. This cohesive identity ensures that the brand stands out in a traditionally utilitarian market, reinforcing the concept that medical attire can be both a functional tool and a fashion statement.
03. Deliverables
The project involved an end-to-end execution of the entire brand ecosystem. I personally managed the brand naming and the complete design of the graphic identity and corporate stationery. My involvement extended into industrial and fashion design, including the creation of the garments themselves and their respective labeling. Furthermore, I directed the professional photography sessions with models to showcase the collection in high-quality catalogs. Finally, I developed the e-commerce platform and the full digital ecosystem, including a strategic social media presence to launch the brand into the marketplace.
